XE Millington STD Cam Cover

The cover is designed to accept either Denso Honda S2000 / K20 Pencil coils or Cosworth YB plug leads. These Denso coils are very reliable.

Precision CNC Machinied from solid out of strong aerospace spec Alloy. 

Includes a mounting 2x M10 mounting lugs on the back for brackets or chassis mounts for single seaters, sports cars etc..

Overall weight 1/2kg less  than original cover.

Comes with oil filler hole which is also a blank or breather for dry sump setups in 1/2 BSP. Supplied as standard is a 1/2'' sightglass bung. 

Also on this lid is a Cam sensor mount. This is made to suite a Bosch Hall effect sensor which is more tolerant to varying clearances. This mount will also suit many types of sensor in the teardrop profile. The sensor is available in the Vauxhall XE products section along with the pencil coils and coil loom.

Signal is picked up off the cam lube.

Shims are included to shim the sensor higher or lower to suit different profiles if required.

Also included is a blank for when it is not used.

Benefits of running a cam sensor are the use of sequential injection and direct spark (Conventional Wasted spark fires on both compression and exhaust, whilst direct fire sparks only when it is required to).
